I’ve noticed an interesting trend in lesbian world… It seems as though, within a group of lesbian girls some, if not most, have either slept with, or dated others within the group. Not to say that it’s unheard of in hetero circles, but for some reason, it’s a little more incestual when it comes to lesbians, because there are no secrets.
First example, a good friend of mine was dating a girl for years and they had the same circle of friends throughout the entire relationship. Unfortunately things didn’t work out and these two broke up. They remained friends, which is great, I’m all for amicable separations. Whilst staying friends, they both started seeing other girls, within that circle of friends. And both involved were totally cool with it, watched it all unfold in front of their eyes, didn’t seem to mind, or question the intentions of these friends they had known for years, who were now sleeping with their recent ex. Apparently this type of thing is common place. Kind of like a human version of “pass the dutch.”
Another thing I have also noticed is that there is never the old fashioned “nail and bail” with lesbians… There’s the attraction, they end up sleeping together, get it out of their systems, and then become great friends. It’s like it’s a test! If you’re good in bed, I will keep you on as a mate. Sounds… reasonable… After all, who would want to be friends with a starfish anyway?
I’ve asked myself, why is it, that lesbians are so willing to share with each other? Is it just our genuinely giving nature, or is there just not enough fish in the sea for everyone, so we end up doubling up?
My question still remains unanswered, and my exes far, far away. Exactly where I like them.
